Office of Assessment of Teaching and Learning Indirect Measures

Indirect Measures at WSU

Indirect measures provide information associated with student learning, motivation, perceived success, or satisfaction. They provide information as to why the student learned or did not learn and can guide faculty members in how to interpret results and make improvements. Indirect measures come in many forms and WSU encourages programs to develop measures that fit their needs and disciplinary expectations.
